Assistant Office Services Manager

The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:
o As senior staff at the OVS Sexual Offense Evidence Collection Kit (SOECK) warehouse, this position is responsible for day-to-day administrative operations and reports to supervisors and Executive staff in the main OVS office. o Responsible for contract management activities such as reviewing deliverables and approving requests for payment. o Primary point of contact for inquiries from medical facilities, law enforcement agencies, etc. related to kit transportation, storage, and release. o Manage delivery acceptance schedule to ensure medical facilities and carriers know when kits will be accepted. o Overall responsibility for independently coordinating victim outreach and responding to all inquiries from victim advocates and ensuring communication is handled in a professional and expeditious manner. o Manage reports or statistics regarding kits at storage location. o Stay up to date on best practices and issues related to SOECK storage. o Responsible for scheduling and supervision of staff at the warehouse facility. o Responsible for overseeing that all systems such as refrigeration, security systems, facility maintenance, deliveries, etc. are running appropriately and maintaining communication with those entities that would need to address any physical facility issues. o Responsible for supply ordering, tracking, and communicating purchasing needs to agency finance and purchasing staff. o Responsible for coordinating internal controls process for the warehouse and quarterly audits of kits on site to ensure accountability and quality of tracking process.

Salary Range:
From $45617 to $76387 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in a title SG-16 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law, or reachable on the current eligible list for this title.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
